BLESS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

The youngest Pre-Grade Class at Bless Elementary School

The Bless Elementary School has an enrollment of nearly 200 students, ages 5 to 13, and is located next door to the Buchanan Restoration Branch church building. Founded in the Saw Mill suburb, by Brothers Ben and Mark for children who's parents could not afford the high tuition charged by the other public, private and parochial schools in Buchanan City, the school is now operated as a ministry of the Buchanan Restoration Branch. For most of the students it is their first opportunity to attend school, and the balance of the students have only attended school for one year. The immediate goal is to teach the children to read, write and do basic math.

A dear Sister in the U.S. gave a large offering for the school that allowed for the renovation of the school building, prior to the start of classes in October 2005. This included new brick walls, new tin roof, windows, doors, interior partitions, desks and benches. Many other Saints in the U.S. have contributed enough school supplies for the entire school year. Previously there were no school supplies for the teachers or students. The staff for the school includes 6 teachers and 2 administrators.
